2021 has been an amazing year for The Joey Domenici Foundation. We have put hours of hard work into continuing Joey's legacy of giving back. No one knew what was going to happen in 2021, especially with COVID still around. We were still able to bring smiles to people's faces, in such hard times. Some unforgettable accomplishments we have made this year include:
Awarding 6 scholarships to people in need of in-patient recovery services
Delivering a large food donation to the Woburn Kennedy Middle School Food Pantry
Adopting one local family from the Giving Tree sponsored by the Woburn Kennedy Middle School
Donating supplies to individuals on Mass Ave. in Boston (i.e. sleeping bags, hats, gloves, coats, backpacks, and masks)
Performing several Random Acts of Kindness in Joey's memory
Granting two scholarships to students who graduated from Wuborn Memorial High School in 2021
Donating 80 "Joey Christmas Stockings" filled with daily essentials to two sober living facilities
Donating food and supplies to a local family of 10, each member battling Covid-19
